Incredible India: Chhtrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), Mumbai


The Chhtrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), Mumbai, Maharashtra, West India, is a UNESCO World Heritage monument, designed by Frederick William Stevens. Built in 1888 in the High Victorian Italianate Gothic revival architecture style, along with elements of Indian architecture, this was previously called Victoria Terminus (VT). It houses the headquarters of Central Indian railways and has 18 railway platforms (11 long-distance & 7 local). Notice the statue above topmost dome? More pics here.
