Mahabodhi Temple Bodh Gaya Bihar India

The Mababodhi Temple Complex at Bodh Gaya (initially called Uruwela), near Patna, Bihar, East India, is the place where God Buddha is considered to have attained enlightenment. Constructed initially by Emperor Asoka, the Temple was renovated in the 1st Century. This 55 meter Temple can be seen even from 11 KM away, but it was rediscovered only in the 19th Century, after being abandoned centuries earlier.
