Manas National Park, Assam, East India, is located on the foothills of Eastern Himalayan region and covers 950 Sq. KM. It is contiguous with Royal Manas National Park, Bhutan and is named so because Manas river flows through the park. Many rare animals like Indian Rhinoceros, Asian Water Buffaloes, Capped Langur can be found here. Others like Pygmy Hot, Assam Roofed Turtle & Golden Langur are found only here.
