Qutb Shahi Tombs, Hyderabad

Qutb Shahi Tombs, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, South India. Built in the 16th & 17th Century, these Tombs contain the remnants of most Qutb Shahi rulers. Neglected after the Qutb Shahi period, the Tombs were restored by Salar Jung III, during 19th Century. Mostly one/two storeyed buildings with a dome on the top, many Tombs have Masjids adjacent to them. Inscriptions have been found in Naskh, Tulth & Persian scripts.
