My Novel – The Archers Revenge [Click Here]

Amazon product page (link): The Archers Revenge.

OK. I must admit that I am no Salman Rushdie or Arundhati Roy. I am not going to win the Pulitzer prize or Nobel Prize for Literature. My book is not going to become a New York Times bestseller!

But, that said, I am extremely glad that my first (short) novel set in India, ‘The Archers Revenge’ has been published as an eBook on Amazon Kindle! Wooooohoooooooooo 🙂 😀 🙂

Here’s the product page:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KO95UQ6/

And here’s the blurb:

“Aryan’s father is killed by a powerful Minister. No one, including the Police, is ready to help him get justice for the death of his father. Can the Minister be allowed to get away with a murder just because he is powerful? What can a mere unarmed individual do?

Aryan realizes he is not totally unarmed – he had been training to get an Olympic medal in Archery. Can one man with bows and arrows be able to bring a powerful Minister, protected by the Police, down to his knees? Can archery win against guns and might?

Set in contemporary India but written for International readers, this tale is bound to change your perspectives about a number of things in life. Underdogs are not always underdogs. Friends are not always friends. Destiny never favors only a few.”

Since this is an eBook published on the Kindle, you can read it on Kindle (highly recommended), Tablets, Computer/Laptop or Smart Phones (with large screens) via Amazon reading apps.

I am doing a free promo for this book from June 01 – June 03. So, if you read this post one one of these three days, go ahead and buy it while it is free. You can decide whether to read or not, later! 🙂

Since this is my first attempt at writing a novel (half-novel actually – 30k words, 114 pages), don’t go in with huge expectations. If possible, let me know what you didn’t like in the book so that I can write my future stories better 🙂

Writing a novel, I have just found, is a difficult task. It took me 7 months to complete this half-novel! But I am glad that I managed to write and publish at least one novel in my lifetime. I am proud that I even managed to complete it in the midst of so many other tasks.

Yaaaayyyyyyyyy 🙂 😀 🙂 .I now feel like how Manisha feels in this song:

I know what you are thinking – Evan summave guddhippan . . . Ippo novel vara publish pannittan . . . sollava venum 😀 😛 😛

Great job Rajesh – but for some weird reason I am not able to download the book 🙁 I have created a new account on Amazon and signed in to the account and all I can read is the book description – no book download option! Either I am going blind in phases or something is wrong with the system!!!!

Best wishes for super-duper sales of the book 🙂

Try this: Buy the book at Rs. 0. But before you click on buy, you’ll see a drop-down menu titled ‘Deliver to:’. Open it, select, ‘Transfer via Computer’ if you want to transfer the amazon file to a tablet/kindle. Or select ‘Read in Kindle Cloud Reader’.

Once you complete the purchase, the download will start (if you selected the first option). If you transferred it to your cloud reader, you can access it via free Amazon apps.

      Thanks for your wishes 🙂

Just bought it on Amazon. Can you believe it, I paid in dollars for it, as I have an account with Amazon (U.S.) and not Amazon ( India). Wish I had known about it earlier, I would have publicized it on my blog. But, its never too late. I will do so next week 🙂

    1. Rajesh K

Thanks. Your support means a lot to me 🙂 Do let us know when your novel is published. We would like to read them too 🙂

Congrats DI. You are a good writer. Hope you publish many more books.

  18. Anu @ Country Hopping Couple

Congrats again DI! I have read half of the downloaded copy, and found it really interesting. The story line is good, and your simple narration has helped me read through the pages quite quickly. The pace of the story line has been kept in tact, and fast throughout, which I think is a difficult job as a writer. You’ve done well. Good luck, and cheers for many more to come!

  19. Sreesha
